AXIS smart IP cameras offer high-quality broadcasting. The CamStreamer application is installed in the camera. That camera is completely configured, set up, and ready to use immediately on a tripod with the connected button. All you need is an internet connection.
Our solution is suitable even for less technically minded teachers and students or for those without much equipment. The teacher simply needs to push a button upon entering the classroom. With this, the lesson immediately starts streaming onto YouTube. The LED on the teacher’s button lets them know that they’re live. At the end of the lesson, simply press the button again and the stream will end.
The application installed on the camera allows direct streaming onto YouTube. All videos are then uploaded to the recording archive. All students know and use this platform. They would then receive a private link from the teacher and can watch the lesson on any device live (mobile, tablet, PC, TV etc.) or later on the archive.
Teachers can record lessons in the classroom or take the camera around the school. It can therefore be used to stream other school events or for frontal lessons in exceptional circumstances such as a burst pipe, heating failure or “flu” holidays, for example.
